Cement Augmentation

Cement augmentation with polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) bone cement is commonly used either alone or in combination with other treatments for the management of conditions such as vertebral body fractures and bone metastases or other tumours affecting the vertebrae, such as multiple myeloma. The oldest and most established of these is percutaneous vertebroplasty; more recently developed treatments being balloon kyphoplasty and SpineJack®.

We have a particular interest in the management of these conditions so please get in touch with us if you would like more information.
